A Story of Passion, Purpose, and Rebellion: It all began with a dream
Six years ago, while working for the third-largest chocolate producer in the world, we were tasked with building a gourmet chocolate beverage initiative in Europe. The focus? Hot chocolate. A classic, yes—but one that felt stuck in time.
We asked ourselves: “What if there’s a better way?” The answer we got? A resounding “No.”
So we went rogue. If you're a Star Wars fan, think Rogue One—off the grid, driven by purpose, fueled by rebellion.
We knew consumers craved customization and espresso-based brews. So we began integrating coffee not as an afterthought, but as a co-star—elevating chocolate to new heights. We achieved incredible things. But the initiative never reached the level we dreamed of. Why? Because of the lack of focus on speciality kind of quality as well as the lack of fairness and sustainability ambition.
That’s when we took a leap of faith.
We found our purpose: to transform coffee through the lens of cacao. To solve the challenges of both worlds—flavor, ethics, and innovation—by merging them. You might ask, “How did you do that?” The answer lies in an ancient truth, spoken in Kaqchikel, a branch of the Mayan language:
“Jun Chiköp K’aslem” — Together we are stronger.
In January 2025, amidst the fertile volcanic soils and extraordinary microclimates of Acatenango, Guatemala, at Finca La Senda—1850 meters above sea level—we uncovered a groundbreaking coffee processing method: Kakaw Kape. Named in Kaqchikel, it symbolizes the union of cacao and coffee.
A new chapter. A new standard. A new way forward.
Brewing a Better Future: No Corporate B.S., Just Real Change
We take NO S#!T—and we say YES to change, fairness, and innovation.
Our passion is simple: to help people transform their daily coffee ritual from a commodity caffeine fix into a personal moment of sustainable joy.
A moment of flavor, quality, and experience—without recklessly taxing the planet’s resources.
Because here’s the truth:
As much as we love washed coffees, not all farmers have access to water. And those who do often unintentionally harm the environment through wastewater contamination.
When coffee isn’t processed well, it’s not just water that’s wasted—it’s the environment, and the very coffee we cherish.
So we decided to do something about it.
Our quest for specialty coffee pushes boundaries. We’re solving real problems—environmental damage, quality loss, and waste—by reimagining how cacao and coffee are processed.
We champion quality, environmental stewardship, and social equity—not as buzzwords, but as non-negotiables.
We believe it’s time to dismantle outdated systems and rebuild them better: More inclusive. More sustainable. More human.
Our journey began where ancient wisdom meets modern purpose—among the Mayan roots of Guatemala.
Partnering with Finca La Senda, an eco-driven farm, we’re setting a new standard for relationship coffee—where fairness, transparency, and unity are everything.
And this is just the beginning.
We’re scaling this model to key cacao and coffee-producing nations.
Together with smallholder specialty farms, we’re moving the industry forward—with integrity, one step at a time.
One cup at a time.

From Competition to Creation: Restoring the Mythical Aura of Cacao & Coffee
We landed 4th place at the 2025 SCA Swedish Barista Championship.
But we don’t compete for trophies—we compete for purpose & the perfect serve. A craft defined by ambition, expertise, and relentless pursuit of excellence.
As SCA Authorized Specialty Trainers, we’ve competed in key championships across Italy and Sweden, earning recognition not just for skill, but for vision. This year, we presented our innovation—our Quest—and it was met with acclaim.
Because we believe that when top-tier chocolate and coffee knowledge meets sustainable, high-quality ingredients, something magical happens.
We restore the mythical aura of cacao and coffee.
It’s time to leave behind the colonialist lens—the outdated ways of presenting coffee and chocolate as mere commodities.
Both are sacred gifts from the gods.
Legend tells that Quetzalcóatl descended on a beam of morning light, bearing cacao trees from paradise.
And in Ethiopia, the story of Waaq, the “big black god,” reminds us that divinity comes in all forms. Waaq sought peace among humans and nature.
When his vision was rejected, he did not retaliate. He wept.
And from his tears, the coffee tree emerged.
These stories matter.
They remind us to honor nature, to embrace unity in diversity, and to treat cacao and coffee not as products—but as experiences.
So we’re building something different.
We offer an online experience that connects you to an offline, one-of-a-kind journey—a future café, roastery, and training center where specialty chocolate and coffee converge.
A haven of hospitality, traceability, and flavor.
Where every sip and bite is crafted to delight your senses.
If you support us, we’ll bring this vision to life.
We’ll welcome you with warmth, serve you with pride, and make you feel special—because you are.
Yes, you are.
Together, we’ll showcase the extraordinary:
From rare origins and traceable varieties to exceptional processing and roasting techniques.
Step by step. Cup by cup.
